Search Enhancements
OpenApply now offers an enhanced search experience designed to streamline your workflow. The new search feature introduces a completely revamped interface, delivering a more intuitive and efficient search process.
With an updated UI, navigating through data has never been easier. As you type, the system instantly highlights the inputted text within the dropdown results, ensuring that key information is visible at a glance. The search results also display relevant IDs, email addresses, and parent information, providing comprehensive details at your fingertips.
Additionally, you can now filter search results by students, contacts, or all, allowing you to quickly access the exact data you need. These updates are aimed at improving your efficiency and making the admissions process smoother than ever!

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new feature coming soon to OpenApply’s Conversion Funnel Analytics — a conversational AI tool that will revolutionise how you interact with your data. Register for our upcoming webinar to get a firsthand look at the feature.
This advanced tool will allow you to input a range of prompts, such as comparing enrolment data, analysing retention and attrition rates across academic years, or summarising complex information. Other Improvements
Our development team has deployed various additional improvements to enhance the OpenApply experience for families and staff over the last few weeks. Below are just a few of these enhancements:
- Filter Contacts Roster by Date Range – narrow down your contacts based on them being added (or updated) during a specific date range, thereby allowing you to find the contacts that are the most active or most likely to convert to applicants
- Search on Re-Enrolment Dashboard – search for students directly from the re-enrolment dashboard, with the results appearing automatically while you type their name, resulting in a fluid and efficient process
- Parent Account Security Updates – prevent parents from deleting files by enabling this setting, and restrict the deletion of important files, adding an extra layer of security
- Retain Historic Applicant Data – lock the text in certain merge fields as it appeared on the email at the time of sending, so that it does not get overwritten if the value changes in the future, thus keeping historical data linked with its original content and preventing discrepancies or inaccuracies
